I live in the chicagoland area and Im trying to plan prom Where did you spend the weekend after the big night?

We want to be someplace a bit more private but its a BIG group of people, and some possible options now are cabins around starved rock, but i just wanted to know some other options. So a nice place with cabins or condos that can accommodate a big group of people, the closer to Chicago the better. Northshore suburbs.

Well...cuz we were all kinda broke, we just did a one day "weekend".

We did a Chicago Hauntings tour...which was quite fun and spooky. And then we went to a comedy show.

Half of our group had done starved rock for their 8th grade trip and didn't want to go that route. So, we decided to do something where half of the weekend wouldn't disappear with driving and where there would be no temptation to do anything crazy [no drinking, drugs, etc.] cuz we all agreed to get together in 10 years...to do it all over again.

Sorry...not that exciting, but we had fun and it was very memorable.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton. but the 4 seasons or peninsula is very good idea too.
