I live in Chicago ILL and babysit for my friend she wants the state to pay me(day care action)?

How does that work? Do they pay good?
Do they pay once a week? If any one has any information on the state paying the babysitter please let me no your experience.

I'm a stay home mom and do no not recive any state benefit
is this like public assistance for me. (my husband would flip)

I only charge my friend $20. a day.

some goes through DHS... You will get a check from these people...sometimes you'll have to pay taxes on it sometime you won't...depends on their rules...depending on how many hours and how many days you watch this kid and how many kids she have you watch...

Hi You probably will make out alright with the set-up of state paying you.The payment will come directly to you which is good.There is one draw back on this feature, this is income you will pay taxes on,no under the table.Good Luck.

You get paid as a government employee. I believe they send a check once per month. Im not sure how much the pay is. You may be able to call your city office.
