What kind of jobs can a 15 year old get with a owrk permit?

I want to get a summer job..i will be turning 16 in october but i want a job now.im always broke and i want to buy a cellphone but my parents wont buy me one..lol

One- how can i get a work permit?

Second- what kind of jobs can i get..i dont want to work in fast food..i was thinking maybe working at forever 21 pacsun hollister..etc

I would suggest not getting into the "fast food" rut.

Both of my kids went to the neighborhood bank and were hired for the summers with their permit.
My son eventually stayed there full time.

Check out neighborhood businesses like real estate offices, veterinary offices, etc. This is a good time to try different things to see what your interests are and to further your education.

if u dnt want to work at a fastfood restaturant then go talk with the staff at your school....when i was in highschool i was in a club that help teens find summer/ part time/ temporary jobs...i work at a campuss club [just playing wit little kids all day, pretty fun]...most highschool should have a program that will anounce job openings....usually jobs are form IRS, the bank, or school campus club.

go to your school districts adminstration office with your parent for the permit.

mcdonald's does even though its not glorious
you do get paid which is the point.

otherwise check with area businesses and classifieds.

sometimes there's a job program through your county that is designed to give you work experience
they're really cool
like at law offices and stuff
to expose you to the work world
check with your guidance counselor for that
