Does anyone remember Wards?, it was a department store that was closed down a couple of years ago in Chicago?

Yes, it was called Montgomery Ward's. I liked the one that was located downtown and Ford City Mall the best. When I was a little girl the store name was called 'The Fair'.They weren't so cheesy neither, nice clothes and products at affordable prices.

I do- It was Montgomery Wards for a long time in Central Florida but was closed down a number of years ago-
I kind of miss it too- esp- for auto parts as well as other household items.

I do. I got all my 'off to college' gear there because my boyfriends mom had an employee discount. It was a great store.
