Any contractors who build in Lake Bluff ever have problems with thier zoning dept.?

This town is the worst i've ever seen for getting permits. It took over a month to get approved for a simple one room addition. And the lady they have in charge is just plain rude. I'm curious because I have some other jobs I want to bid on there and if its always like this --fahgetabouit!!
