What is going on in or around Matteson Illinois with these bodiless feet found reported Sunday 14 October?

The banner on the bottom of the screen reported that someone found some feet with no body, in a community to the far suburban fringe of Chicago. Efforts to learn of this via a couple of search engines did not turn up any info thus far. Has anyone read or heard any thing about this?

My gf said that she heard on the radio that the feet belonged to a motorcyclist whose legs were cut off below the knee. The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital but the crew didn't get his feet for some reason.

But that doesn not make any sense with what the article that aft contributed the link to.

Maybe there are more than one "found feet" story.

Yes it was a dude that always walked down vollmer Rd.... He was hit from behind and his legs severed....the auto didnt report the accident but dumped his body 12 miles away in Alsip. It was a hit and run.

Yeah news this morning said feet were found earlier now the footless body turned up. As for what's going on in or around Matteson... would do you think??? A murder! I'm sure you can learn more once the autopsy is done... they may even suspect its a hit and run according to Fox Chicago but thats just a theory they say.

They should have just reported it. More than likely it was an accident. Now they have to live with this. I feel sorry for the family of the man who got hit.
