Where can I get good, fresh fish in Chicago's Northwest suburbs? |
I live near Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, Des Plaines, etc. and all the fresh fish stinks. I've been to Meijer, Garden Fresh in Mt. Prospect, Dominick's in Mt. Prospect, and all their fish counters have a strong fishy stench. If this is an impossible request, where is the best priced frozen fish. I'm looking mostly for buying tuna, salmon, scallops, and shrimp. Any and all suggestions are welcome. There really are no wrong answers here unless you tell me where I've already been. In Palatine near main street and northwest highway there is a russian fish market. |
