There are thousands. Google them.

Call the Chamber of Commerce for the town that you want to rent one in.. they have plenty of info for you!

In addition to the Chamber of Commerce, also try the local library. They often have subscriptions to business directories like Reference USA that let them search for any kind of business (banquet halls included) in a specific town, within a region or statewide.

If you do want to try Google (which works with slightly older listings from InfoUSA, the producer of ReferenceUSA), try searching "banquet halls near schaumburg, IL", but subsitute the town you're interested in. Google will give you a short list on the first results page, followed by a "more" link with results sorted by distance. For the Schaumburg example:

Finally, there does seem to be a pretty good statewide listing at: http://www.partypop.com/Categories/Cater...

However, I can't vouch for how current it is.
