What do i need to do to become an alderman in chicago?

what are the qualifications? how do i apply? where do i start?

Alderman are elected officials, so you don't apply per se. Check with the city of Chicago for the ballot qualifications. Also you will need support from local businesses and a lot of money.

You need to be a total A-hole and kiss Daley's ***.
