Does anyone know a quick way in the morning from I-355 & I-290 in Illinois to Barrington, IL?

I really hate my long commute in the morning. I takes about an hour in the morning and only a half hour on the way home. Does anyone know a quick way to get to Barrington, IL from the area around I-355 and I-290? I am waiting for the construction to clear up at I-90 and I-290 but they have been working there all summer. I need to be in Barrington around 7:30-8:00am.

You might try driving west on the new Elgin O'Hare Expressway.

You know the one that does not go to Elgin or O'Hare?

It starts by driving West on Thorndale from I-290.

Take that to Irving Park Road exit and go west from there til you get to Barrington Road.

Then turn North on Barrington Road.

Or you could just drive west on Lake Street all the way to Barrington Road then turn North.

Or take Rohlwing Road to the Elgin - O'Hare, then go west from there.

There are lots of options depending on exactly where you live.
