What are some jobs that a 12 year old [myself] can do in chicago illinoise?

Hey im having troble looking for a job and i waz wondering were are they hiring for a job beacuse im 12 and i need a job badly beacuse i need new shoes and extra money also i need to be independent in the world just like anyone else so can anyone help me i take all sugestions!

how about a babysitting job or dog walking or helping the elderly with their groceries and stuff like that. maybe you could get some friends together and clean houses or have car washes. I know its hard to find a job when your younger. Umm I'd try asking privately owned local businesses if they need help. Good Luck I hope you find what your looking for. I'm glad your being mature and trying to take responsibility and finding a job.

Really all you can do is odd jobs. Dog walking, babysitting, cutting grass, raking leaves (summers almost over :( )or a paper route

What you might want to do- is see if there are some people in your neighborhood that would be willing to offer you some money for some help around the house.
You could mow yards or pull weeds
Carry in groceries
You could babysit
You could get peoples mail for them and their newspapers
You might want to see if you are eligible for a paper route?

i don't think it's legal for a 12 yr old to work. you'll probably have to wait til you're 16. you could start your own business,though. i don't think the law prevents you from working for yourself. i don't know much about chicago, but maybe you could mow lawns, wash/detail cars, walk dogs, babysit, lots of things. give it a shot. you might just be the next trump. good luck.
