Where can i find a free cdl program in chicago? |
iam a ex-felon trying to better myself for me and my kids so iam desperate please help !!!!!!!!!!!1 I know a few ex-felons and you're right. Thats about the only job that they can get. Be thankful there are a lot of driver jobs out there. But I dont know of any free CDL programs, my fiance isnt and ex-con but he has a CDL B. He had to pay 300.00 dollars for his and 300.00 to rent the truck for the test. I know they teach truck driving at Olive Harvey college over on the South Side. if you drive a school bus for like 6 months they put you through cdl classes for free Go to JBHunt web site you can get some training through them, though I don't know if youcan get a CDL as an ex felon. Glad you are moving in the right direction. Much success to you and your family. Call 211 and ask them if they can help you. They are great. Also you are going to need a little help keeping your CDL once you get it. After you get your CDL you may want to also get the Commercial Drivers Legal Plan. It will cover you and your spouse in your commercial and personal vehicle. I hope this helps. |
