It's not a full time job at all.. it's something you do on your own time, and they pay you to do it.

it all depends on the company you get involved with, do your research first!

I think if you could we'd all be doing it...ummm so I am going to say "no".

I was once one about 10 years ago. The key is getting hooked up with a company that has a major account. For example, I did secret shopping for all the Kentucky Fried Chicken stores in Chicagoland. The companies like very accurate reports, and that's how you get repeat assignments. While they pay a modest fee, plus any expenses (such as the chicken), you still have to pay for the gasoline.

Once I got an assignment to eat at Ruth Chris steakhouse...no fee, but got a very nice dinner paid for. However they wanted VERY accurate reports, with exact times. Had to very descreetly write my notes. Also, kept running to the bathroom to write down things.
