How much would a person get for a slip in fall at jewel osco money wise? |
hi everyone i had sliped an falled at jewel osco and i would like to know how would a person get for a slip an fall or how much do you think jewel osco would offer to me?? Oh a slip and fall?!?!?!?!? LOSER INSURANCE FRAUD If you are okay and there is nothing wrong just be grateful for that. There are too many people in the world today looking to get something for nothing. If you were injured in the fall I would be concerned about getting enought to make sure my medical bills were paid and money for time of work if that was the case. Don't try to get rich quick through Jewel. You will have to prove that the store is liable for any injuries you may have suffered. Most commonly slip and falls are proved according to a negligence standard. For example, I've seen awards in New Jersey for broken hip and legs for $100,000. However, you might be able to get $1,000,000 in the Bronx for the same injury. For example, this number could be greater if you missed a significant amount of work or incurred significant medical expenses because of these injuries. The insurance carrier will look at many other factors in offering a settlement. Most lawyers are careful in the cases they will take. Generally, there has to be a serious injury and clear liability before a they will take a case.
