Are there any ballroom dance studios in the chicagoland area around Joliet?

I really want to start lessons, and I was wondering if the Fred Astaire studio was the only one around offering lessons.

There are several studios around. Check out the Willowbrook ballroom in Willow Springs, they have dance lessons sometimes on the weekends and during the week.
There is also Celebrity Dance Studio in Downers Grove. Since Dancing with the Stars, there has been a lot of dance studios opening around in the suburbs. Hope that helps.

Joliet federal peniteniary has a very extensive ballroom dancing program for the aryan brotherhood but no for the muslim brothers. anybody is wellcome from outside. realy top notch instructors from univ. of chicago and other visiting schools like new yorik and la. that depends if you can handle workig with felons being rehabilitated. some very good talent has surfaced here.

You can contact your local chapter of USA Dance, which is the organization that governs amateur social and competitive ballroom dancing. They have a Chicagoland Chapter, which can give you information on the schools and teachers in your area.
