Living in Canada and owning a private business, I want to purchase a condo in the US under it. What do I do?

Basically, I would like to operate the business from there. Is this a good idea? Are there tax benefits? Are there any tax procedures?

You'll need to check US tax and other laws for the area you want to operate. You'll need a business license, other permits, and you'll probably need a visa in order to do any work from there.

But it's more a US question than a Canadian one. In general, taxes are equivalent (despite what you may have heard elsewhere), so there will probably be no major tax advantage, once you consider everything. It can vary widely from state to state, though.
