So how do i go about getting the PST & GST i paid in canada back on all the stuff i brought back to the states |
i spent about $600 at all the wacky stores on bloor and yonge. a salesperson told me i can get the salestax back and i was wondering how. I had no idea you could do that. You cannot get the PST back. Never could. You used to be able to get the GST back, but I believe that was stopped about 2 years ago. They have a teller at the duty free on the way back to the US. So you have to stop in there and you have to have your receipts. Last time I checked you have to had spent at least 200 dollars? but that was a couple years ago. |
