Part time Job income taxes! Please help?

I work part time from home(services) in 2007 and made under $10,000....will I have to pay anythig or not?

Unlikely. The basic personal amount is $9600 which means that once you remove that you are left with $400 in taxable income.

I'm going to hazard that between other deductions and credits you'll be down to $0 but there is not enough information to answer.

Worst case scenario you would owe $60 in most provinces (the range is $50-194).

If you do not owe any income tax you are not required to file. I would recommend filing anyway because you might qualify for a rent credit or GST rebate.

Most of the online tax programs offer free filing for people under $20k. You could use one for free so as to not pay to have your taxes done.

You still have to file your taxes, I don't know if you're going to owe anything, after deductions and such, but you have go through the form and file the appropriate forms(s).
