What is my estimated Canadian tax refund as a single individual?

If my Employment Income for the taxation year is about 23,000 dollars, my tax paid is about 4000 dollars during employment, personal allowance is 9600 dollars, what is my estimated Canadian tax refun?

I am not clear if by personal allowance you mean basic personal exemption. This is important because if you really meant basic personal exemption, you still have to pay taxes on 9.4k or about $1400 minimum.

However, if by personal allowance, you did not mean basic personal exemption, and you are referring to legally deductable expenses, acceptable to the tax department, then you have little or nothing to pay.

Refund app. = $200.

Your tax rate is 15 percent, so figure it out.
