Which is the best software to use when filing your taxes on the CRS site? I don't think we qualify for free!

We're seniors

It would be the Netfile system

I've been using Genutax for over five years now and love it. It's easy to use. You enter your information on screens that look exactly like your slips. The support is also very good too. It's a one time fee of $34.99 (+tax) and they email you updates every year at no extra charge. I've moved, changed emails, fried my computer, etc, and they responded with new downloads within hours after I sent them an email. You can print and Netfile up to 20 returns each year so it's worth it! If you don't want to make the committment, you can opt to download the free trial version to try it out. You will still get the same results and everything; you just cant print or Netfile it.

www.ufile.ca has always been good to me. Very easy to use. $24 for a couple filing with a combined family incomes of over $20,000
