Do Canadians have to report to the Canadian government income earned in the US?

My wife is Canadian. When we were in the US, she earned some income (about 30K), and we paid US income taxes on that. Does she still have to report and/or pay taxes for that income to the Canadian government?

I'd appreciate any citations about this information. Thanks!

Yes, if your wife is "resident" of Canada for tax purposes.

She can claim a foreign non-business income tax credit for any foreign taxes paid to the U.S. state and federal governments.

Yes, you have to report your world income to CRA.
