I am woriking in canada, and sending money to my father in Italy?

I am working in Canada, but I am not a citizen yet, I send regularly money to help my father, in Italy. His income is very low, lower than 7,000 dollars, and he has only the Italian nationality. Can I claim this money, as a tax deductible amount?

No, you cannot claim him as a dependent since he's not in Canada. Sorry.

No, that is not a tax deductible amount.

As noble as your supporting him is, its not tax deductable.
