Paying Quebec Income tax while living in Ontario, need advice please!?


I recently joined a company from Quebec; I received my first pay and realized they deduct more taxes than Ontario. How can I reduce the taxes being taken out of my pay to reflect the Ontario levels of deductions?? I have approached my employer; they don't seem to know either...

Your employer should be deducting based on the province of employment. I'm assuming you work in Quebec and reside in Ontario.

When you file your income tax in the spring, you'll be filing as a resident of Ontario. So you're going to get one heck of a refund.
