Taxable benefits?

In Canada...my company pays my medical benefits, pays my monthly alberta health care, should I be paying monthly taxes off of my check for this?

No medical insurance premiums paid by your employer and not considered a taxable benefit.

Here's a link to a CRA document which defines taxable benefits. Its written for an audience of employers telling them what should be included on a T4 for benefits.
