How long does it take for Canada Revenue Agency to deposit income tax refund? |
Once a tax return has been processed, how long does it take for the CRA to deposit the refund into the bank account? If you did your return by phone, it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. If you sent it by conventional mail at the deadling, it can take up to 8 weeks. Source(s): past experience doing both. It is usually pretty quick, less than 10 days...But you can track it on their website Go there and look for the entry about finding out about tax refund. Well, the 2005 return will take longer than the 2006, since the tax centre is doing 2006 right now. If the 2006 return depends on the 2005 return for some reason (carryforwards, for example), you may be waiting several weeks. |
