How much tax can a person pay in ottawa, ontario? |
i am gonna start making 41600$ canadian per year ,so how much i will expect to pay taxes on it. If you earn this income after July 1, 2007 and you have no dependents etc. you would pay a combined total of federal and provincial income tax on this income of $18,623.00. You would also be liable for Canada Pension Plan contributions and Employment Insurance premiums of $1,989.90 and $720.00 respectively. You can do this calculation yourself at the following Canada Revenue Agency website address that allows you to insert numbers for other sources of income as well as other types of deductions that may be available to you based on your personal cicumstances. http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/eservices/tax/b... I hope this is helpful. Tim H |
