What is good pay for mudlogging?

What is good pay for mudlogging?

I've logged in the Barnett Shale field in the Ft. Worth basin in Texas for a few years. Seems to me that starting at US$125-150 per day is standard depending on experience with top pay at around $300 per day. Although I haven't actually found anyone paying $300 (much to my chagrin), I have heard from several people that some do. So I think that you're doing pretty good at $200-250 per day in the Ft. Worth Basin. I can't speak for any other fields around the country since my experience has been limited, geographically speaking, but I hope this helps, nonetheless. Source(s): Me
