Where is the least expensive grocery store in Massachusettes? |
Preferably around the seekonk/Attleboro area, but anywhere is fine. The chain that makes a point of beating the others on a lot of items each week is Market Basket. The Globe periodically runs a series that compares prices on a typical basket of items and MB always does great in that comparison. By comparison Whole Foods is always the most expensive. I would try Aldi's if there are any in the area. That said perhaps a google search of grocery stores and try several to find which you like best. To get the best deals you will need to be careful, shop the ads and coupon like crazy. i know that market basket is the lowest prices around, for dry grocerys it is the cheapest by far. for perishable items the quality is very poor. the meat and produce is terrible. very low quality. deli and seafood not so good either. but if you just want grocerys then you will want to find the closest market basket. i would have to say price right in springfield mass |
