What jobs can i get at the age of 14 in Worcester MA?

Hey i live in Leicester and i am 14 and looking for a job. Does anyone know what i could do?

the only 2 things I can think of (being from Worcester myself)...is a paper route or call the YMCA and see if they are hiring any Junior Counselors for summer camps...I think there is a Camp in Spencer and Rutland or Barre...it's tough when you want to work and make your own money but the law says your too young....my first job was actually at 12 years old...and that was at the Worcester Public Library...but seeing that I am probably the same age as your mother I don't know if they do that anymore but you can call there or your local library...I worked at a smaller branch and on Saturdays I would show movies to the kids and then my main job was to put books back on the shelf in alphabetical order...but that could be boring....so I don't know what else there is...unless some area restaraunt would hire you to do dishes and sweep up....start calling around...look through the local paper...or call some place like Lake Lashaway or Carmellas...try Sturbridge Village...there's got to be something out there for you to do...good luck and don't work too hard...you're only a kid for a short time...you're an adult forever and unless you win Megabucks...you'll be working until your old!! so enjoy too!!!

I think you may need to first get working papers since you鈥檙e under 16. Not sure what the law is but when I started work at 13 I had to go to the school in the town I lived in and get the working papers from the secretary, they鈥檙e just forms to fill out and have your parents sign. Do your parents friends, or friends parents have businesses? That鈥檚 a good place to start looking for work.
