How well does 'ChemDry' carpet cleaning work? Expensive? Recommendations in Franklin, MA. area?

Chem Dry uses a carbonation type of cleaning for carpets and upholstery. A chemical is sprayed onto the carpet and buffed out, and the dirt is supposed to come out onto the buffing cloth.

Most carpet manufactures recommend "steam cleaning"
It is called steam cleaning, although it is actually hot water extraction.

The owner does all the work himself, nice and friendly, he took the business over from his father, I got them from my mom who has used them for a long time. not sure if they go all the way to Franklin or not, but they are the best.

Chem Dry also uses hot extraction,the buffer system is out of date,my local chem dry uses truck mount and my carpet is dry in 1 hr and stays cleaner alot longer than other companys ive tryed i would never use anything but chem dry Report It
