What was the Shopping Mall's name in Downtown, Boston, MA during the 80s? |
it was located right next a convenience store called jordan Marsh or Filene's back in the 80s, it is now a hotel. It was close during the early 90s I was wondering whats it's called and what happen to the place? for whoever is familiar with downtowns surrounding, this pic have boston common in sight. I'm pretty sure it was called the LaFayette Mall. I don't know what happened to it...I was just a kid back then. I think that was "Downtown Crossing." It was redeveloped (unsuccessfully) and the main stores of the area were bought up by chains (like Federated Dept stores which bought Jordan Marsh and made it into a Macy's). |
