I recently took the MA bar exam, now I really need a job in the legal field in the Boston area, any advice?

Theres a mag/newspaper Lawyers weekly i think it is, its even prduced out of Boston. Other than that, as Im sure you have, hit the Sunday paper, take a less attractive job just to gain the experience. Or theres always calling up the old college beer buddies that are already working. Time to go out for drinks again! Get re-aquainted

Maybe send some resumes. Thats usually how people do it I think. It never worked too well for me though. Maybe flood the employer sites with emails?

My advice to you is to talk to the career services office at your law school. They can help you more than anyone else can. They can help you even if you did not pass the BAR. Also, the ABA and Barbri both offer services to help you build a resume.

Learn a lot of lawyer jokes and tell them during your interview. Lawyers have a great sense of humor. You can specialize, and even be an entrepaneur, sell pre-paid legal services to strippers, you can represent every stripper in Boston...You would be a genius.
Or you could chase ambulances like most attornies, attornies towards the top of the class already have jobs in firms before they even take or pass the bar, what happened?
