Want to kow more about Boston?

Which are the good areas near Boston? Which are not? Please be more specific and list out he names of the cities.

.The city of Boston and its Metro area(inside 10 miles or inside route 128) is one of the most expensive areas in the US to live. With any large city,it has its pluses and minuses as to its living communities. Although every community has its good areas to live there are some cities/towns to avoid as "risky" areas. Boston(city area) has Dorchester,Mattapan,Roxbury,Jamaica Plain, sections of South Boston,East Boston,Charlestown,South End that can be classified as inner city "risky"--they all still have fine points. Communities like Back Bay,Beacon Hill,Marina Bay and the West End have less "problems" attached to them than do the afforementioned areas. Just outside(1-4 miles) Boston you have some very affluent areas such as Brookline,Newton,Milton,Winthrop,Chestnu... Hill,Nahant large sections of Cambridge,West Roxbury and some decent urban areas such as parts of Quincy,Somerville,Revere,Brighton/Allsto... and Everett. Beyond the real Urban areas(4-10)miles are some of the most affluent areas in the US. The affluent white collar towns being..Weston,Wellesley,Lexington,Belmon... and Wayland. Accompanying these "highenders" are a little more modest but still very desireable towns like, Dedham, Burlington,Stoneham,Medford,Reading,Lynn... and Canton...More blue collar towns in this area would include Melrose,Malden,Waltham,Lynn,Braintree,Sa... and Peabody. Although I probably(definitely) missed some areas, this is a pretty good list of "what is what" within 10 miles of Boston. If you go past 10 miles you can get anything from Dover/Sherborn or Concord/Carlisle which are in the top 50 zip codes in US for affluence to High enders like Southboro/Westboro,Harvard,Andover,Hingh... to average towns like Walpole,Billerica, Franklin or Bellingham to more old cities with tough areas like Brockton,Lowell or Lawrence... Eastern Mass from about Worcester(45 miles away) to Boston has about every style community you could image for an area in the Northeast with all the charms and warts that accompany anywhere you can settle.
