How do Tax cuts hurt the economy overall? |
How do Tax cuts hurt the economy overall? well jeremiah, you must be a democrat. let me tell you how it goes. the gov is sending out a check to all the poor people in order to boost the economy. giving money away never helps. the gov is way in the red and can't afford to give so much money away. as they go deeper in debt, the interest rates will rise (although now it is artifically falling which will lead to a whole lot of inflation in a year or so), which means its a lot harder for people to borrow money (crowding out) not only that but people may just save the money and it won't do anything, no one trusts the economy to go out and spend so much |
