Tax claims question regarding my new Nikon D300? |
i have just bought a new Nikon D300 and was wondering how much i would get back if i was to claim this on tax through my own business? i currently live in Sydney Australia btw it is a web design company. the camera is used to take photos of clients' venues, products, etc. to be placed onto the site being made for their needs. Where you live is irrelevant. The question is, can you show that the purchase of the camera was part of your business operation? provided the Nikon D300 is an allowable claim, by claiming, it doesn't mean you're gonna be getting any amounts back from paying for the item, it just basically means the price would be used to reduce your income, therefore you pay less tax. |
