Does anyone know of a good major appliance repair service in the Austin, Tx area????

I have a dryer, that is fairly new, that I believe has a short in the ground wire. I tried using ABA Appliance Service, and had the WORST experience of my life. I made an appointment over 24 hours prior to the time they were to come to my house. I work 2 jobs, and it's very difficult for me to make arrangements to have someone at my house during the allotted time. Well, after making arrangements, and having my appointment set, all I could do was wait. Well, the evening before the day of my appt, a lady called from ABA and said that b/c there was only one technician in my area, it would be later in the evening that someone could be there. I said that was fine, and actually worked better for me. Well, low and behold, day of my appt, NO ONE showed up, NO CALLS, NOTHING! I highly, highly recommend that no one use ABA Appliance Service if you're looking for GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, and someone you can rely on!

Any company-with more then 3 tech's well have the same=problem--you well have to find a small 1- 2- man repair shop-you might try coast appliance parts--and see if they know of a one man repair shop--in the area-APED-is another national-appliance part-store--that the only thing i can think of-or just ask people at work-see if they know--of someone local-that you can call
