How to get Started?

I'm 23 years old I just graduated form the community college with a degree in Fashion Merchandising I want to be a fashion buyer but I dont know how to get started in the business I'll be attend a 4 yrs school in the spring. I'm working a retail job and I have manager exprinece I'm ready to start working now instead or crappy jobs. I wanted to ask what I needed to do to get into the business.

I am sorry to say, but if you don't know then you aren't going to be able to get in. Fashion is not only about what you learn in college or from experience; it is about who you know. Try sending out your resumes to different places or try and work your way up in the company you are at now.

They should have told you more about the fashion business (such as how to get started) when you were in school. If they didn't, then maybe you could call them up and ask to speak with one of your old professors and see what advice they have to give.
