Do you think this babysitting rate is too high?$5 per hour or 6?

Yeah I'm thinking of changing my rate to $5 per hour for under 3 kids and $6 per hour for over 3 kids. I want to know if you find this reasonable.

That's a little on the cheap side actually. I get paid 5 dollars per kid...My friends get paid up to 10 dollars per kid but they live in a nice neighborhood so I don't know. I think 6 dollars for over 3 kids could be a little cheap.

i think thats very reasonable i charge that much when i baby sit as well

i find it perfectly reasonable. i babysit and i do 2$ per kid per hour.

then i changed to 5 per kid per hour so if i sat for 4 hours for 1 kid i got 20$

7.00 per hour is descent. 5.00 is too low.

hum... I get $13 per hour... it depends on UR experience... don't know anyone charging less than $10 though...

Its a bargen. I always pay good money to the person I trust with my kids.

my kid loves my sitter i pay her 10hr for 5 yr old

I think it is resaonable. It is what my neighbor gets when she babysits.
