Workers comp ? can u b given mmi if u r just starting therapy & r they not supposed to give you wkly pay? |
i have injury since oct 2005 saw dr. in dec was supposed to start therapy(jan) but father got ill & passed(feb) (march) i was sent for mmi to another dr. (april)finally stopped working went to therapy (may)therapy---got mmi letter check for 300. & still doing therapy how do i apply for benefits? therapy is not working & nest step is surgery. Do I not get benefits? Call the insurance carrier handling your worker's comp claim. You should have started receiving 2/3 of your base pay after 21 days. You are not eligible for pay until you've been out of work for 7 straight work days. Ask your employer's human resources department how to apply for workers comp benefits. |
