It depends on what you were arrested for, and what position you are applying for. If you are applying for something like shopping cart wrangler, they won't be too concerned about your background, but if you want to be a cashier or work with the expensive merchandise (electronics, sporting goods) then they will see a misdemeanor shoplifting charge as a serious obstacle to your employment.

Hard to say. Most employers want to know your criminal background. It depends on what you were arrested for.

Depends how long ago you got arrested and what the arrest was for. Also if you were arrested but never convicted there shouldn't be anything on your record. If you were convicted of a crime you may still be hired somewhere.

i honestly dont think so. but if you dont put it on your apllication, i dont think they check. its not that hard to get hired at the store, but if trying for the DC, thats another story, they are Very picky about who they hire.
