How can i learn to type faster?

Well, practice is the best. I can type 100 words per minute in a five-minute timing and 110-120 words per minute in a one-minute timing. My secret is to keep practicing with 1 or 5 minute timings and always try to beat your previous timing. It's competing with yourself. Eventually, you will get better and better. Good luck.

1. Practice a bit more on not looking at your keyboard when you are typing.

2. Use whatever fingers you are comfortable with for the typing of the keys. Its not necessary to follow the old typewriter format.

I bought a program called typing tutor by Simon & Schuster. It has typing test and games. I went from the hunt & peck method to typing 85 wpm. It's also under $10.00
