Where can a 14 year old work at in Georgia? |
I want to get a summer job but cant find where Yes! This summer the unemployment office will have summer jobs available for students ages 14-21. So if you are interested in working this summer, get your parent or possibly you to contact the Department of Labor in your area and ask about the summer jobs that they will have. I am registering my son to work this summer as well, because he wants to work and I will be contacting them this month to find out about the summer program. I hope this was helpful. Hello Richy here are some ideas for you. You could look for a job helping with a summer rec program, being a jr counselor at a day or overnight camp, busing tables at an eating place, working at DQ or some other fast food place, doing baby sitting or yard work but possibly not with a riding mower, helping in an office, retail stocking, working at a skating rink or bowling or game place, doing telemarketing, tutoring younger kids, helping on a farm, working in a petting zoo, or something you think of while reading a list like this. GA dept of labor may have a summer youth employment program again this yr and be able to place 14 yr olds but hunt on your own too. Any business where you and your family shop is "fair game" except one like a mechanic shop that would be considered hazardous. |
