Yes you need a work permit to work for any business in GA except one owned by a family member. Your parent or guardian signs for it at your local bd of ed. YOu can work 20 hrs a week on school weeks, 40hrs a week when school is out.

You need a job that is classified as non hazardous which also means no operating machinery. Retail stocking or clerk, working at a skating rink or bowling or game place, working doing telemarketing, tutoring younger kids, helping on a farm, working in a petting zoo, helping with a summer rec program, being a jr counselor at a day or overnight camp, busing tables at an eating place, working at DQ or some other fast food place, doing baby sitting or yard work,
