Garbage Disposal in Atlanta, GA? |
We missed garbage pick-up day today and I am trying to find a place to dump our household garbage? All of the web sites I have looked at have been tailored more towards larg quantities of garbage or old household items being diposed of and I am really just looking for some garbage dump where i can take a huge bag of trash. The dumpster behind the corner liquor store. FREE! Sorry but using private dumpsters is illegal. The businesses have to pay to have trash hauled off and pay by weight. Depending where you work and how you get there your co may allow a one time use. Each county has a land fill for use by county residents only and as someone said there is a charge though usually not a big charge. You can call the county office for hours and costs. The local county landfill will take your trash, but it cost money to dump. I'd double bag the trash and just wait until next week's service. |
