Food Donation? |
Hello I attend church in Cobb County, GA. We want to donate food to at least three familes this holiday season in the Cobb County area. Do anyone know what local offices I can contact to get a list of familes in need of donations? Your help will be appreciated. Thanks and god bless! Try the Tommy Nobis Center 1480 Bells Ferry Rd Marietta, Ga. They are an excellent organization to make your donation with That center are good folks. Other possibilities are M.U.S.T. Center in Marietta which helps some of the poorest of the poor, Cobb county DFACS, your nearest school, and your church itself. I suggest starting with the church bec the pastor may know of folks there who are having a hard time who may not be on the agency lists because they or embarassment or whatever. Also consider helping some older folks who are alone at the holidays. The Senior center may give you referrals. |
