Not sure if you are looking for a rent and can afford rent or are about to be homeless with nearly no resources so probably one half or the other of this answer will be useless but hopefully the other half will help.
If homelessness Salvation Army and Atlanta Union Mission both have women's shelters that help ppl get back on their feet. Other resources would include

Any large Catholic Church and Any large Baptist church will have some resources too tho probably not a shelter.

If your daughter is school age GA Dept of Family and Children's services may have some financial aid available as may her school. Talk to school counselor and also ask how to get to Homeless student's liaison.

If looking for rent of course you have probably tried the papers like www.ajc.com but try the small ones too that are given away free. If you have income try the short stay and extended stay apartment motels you pay weekly and maybe a small deposit but generally you can get in for $300 or less and that includes all your utilities and is a place to be while you hunt a home. Consider weekly rental trailers too if funds are short again a low move in cost usually.

In a real bind consider that people pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars to come to GA and camp in the fall and for a short time you can camp nd be a tourist here too. Make it an adventure for your daughter. Check out both state park and private camp grounds that allow tents. WalMart sells tents for less than $100 some as low as $69 or less.

If you have some funds oddly enough it is sometimes cheaper to but a repo home and land package than to rent. We did that a few yrs back or actually bought from an owner who just wanted out and out then on a rent to own basis. Our rent for a run down place was 650 a month, light bills sky high. The place we bought was under $350 aq month and really nice and it is ours.
