I live in Atlanta Georgia and i'm having a hard time on the jobs.?

I've been harassed several time form different places. Know one takes it serious, and if reported your fired. Im feeling like this isn't the place for me. I need advice how should i handle this.

I don't know the nature of the harassment but if sexual harassment you can contact either the GA state laor dept or federal equal oportunity ppl. There are also lawyers that will handle this on a contingency (they get paid only of they win money for you) and by federal law you can not be fired,demoted, or subject to disciplinary action if you have such a complaint under investigation.

If this is more a bullying harassment or a harassment due to beliefs ways etc it is more of a problem and you may need to talk to a labor lawyer or as the other poster said take a serious look at what you may be doing that inadvertantly makes you a target. Sometimes if we expect to be a victim it shows. You may also find a change of job fields can help especially if you get extra training.

BTW~ talk to someone in the state labor dept but used to be in GA that you can draw unemployment if you leave a job for good work related reasons and this could qualify.

Try checking out www.thejobsite.org for jobs with the state of GA which does have pretty strict anti harassment rules.

when it has happened to you several times then it is time to step back and maybe face the fact that the problem might NOT be all them and some of it you might have to own....maybe a friend can be VERY honest and give you a bit of guidance as to what gets up other peoples noses about you etc etc........
