Is it true they are shutting down the clubs in Buckhead again In Atlanta,GA?

My friend told me about this something about renovated till 2009 if true that sucks where da new hangout spot gonna be at

Not only are they shutting many of the clubs down., They are tearing them down and redeveloping the entire district.

The land value just got too expensive to ignore and the crime and trouble just wouldn't go away so some rich developers got together and went in and bought up all the land. They are going to develop a new shopping district with new high rise housing and restaurants, trying to create a "Rodeo Drive of the South" in the old Buckhead village.

a lot of people are complaining about the clubs people who live in the area the movin a lot of the clubs to decatur people say its cheaper and u can find places to park

Yeah, they shut down a lot of places to build up new condos and retail/restaurant sites and stuff like that. I know the place we always hung out at, CJ's Landing, moved their location somewhere over in the Briarcliff/North Druid Hills area.

Hopefully the same people wont be hanging out in Buckhead when the renovations are complete. It's bad for businesses and Atlanta's image. Buckhead was turning into a terrible place to have fun. I don't blame them for shutting them down and trying to make it a better place for everyone. Thugs take up a small percentage of the population but they have such a strong negative impact when they show up to any party. That's why the party is over for everyone in Buckhead.. When the clubs do open back up it will probable be a place where sophisticated people that know how to act in public will be able to enjoy themselves.
