Where can I find a cheap apartment in the Atlanta-metro in a nice area? (by cheap i mean around $300)? |
I am a student and dont really have $$ to afford expensive apartments.. I am also willing to share with other people. You can check roommates.com for a roommate. And Rent.com for an apartment. The south side will be cheaper for apartments. Also look farther from the city. Things are cheaper the farther you are from the city and you can always take MARTA in. thats not gonna happen unless u want to live in the bad apartments gettin a roomate is probly your best bet Try looking to rent a room from someone with an apartment, house, or condominium. 300.00 will not pay for an entire apartment in an acceptable and safe area. You might also want to consider one or more roommates to help with the rent. Your best bet could be to trade child care, house cleaning, yard work or some such for a room or efficiencey. A $300 apartment is something you might have found 20 yrs ago and even then it was rare in a nice area but it will take prayer and a special blessing to come close to that now. You may find a deal with 2 more roommates at that price range. Be sure to read any lease very closely to be sure you are not stuck with the rent if one of them moves. |
