Where's a good place to donate books in Atlanta?

I have a variety of reference, self-help, fiction and other books in hardback and paperback. I like the idea of donating to a shelter for battered women or for homeless people. Any ideas?

i dont know a specific place but you could give to a local school or library or church if your wanting to donate them so it will help someone less fortunate than others

The library is always good. Anyone can get a library card. The library will keep any they need for their shelves, and sell the rest to help fund buying more books. They will also give you a tax reciept.

Try shelters, or the salvation army, orr the goodwill, but I will donate to shelters, espically women shelters. Or you may even county jails or transitional homes

you can always go to ur local goodwill store and donate or any thrift store.
